Thank you to Adrian and Jacqui for the lovely shutters They haver made a difference to our new house. We were kept informed every step of the way and the fitting of the shutters was very smooth and quick. We love the colour and am glad we chose the silver grey. Thank you again. Mrs Birch, Poundbury
We used Adrian Shutters and Blinds to supply bespoke Café style shutters to our home. From the initial visit when Adrian arrived to measure up the project through to delivery it was a pleasure to deal with both Adrian & Jaqui. We were always kept informed about the status of our order and the delivery. When the delivery day arrived, it could not have gone smoother. We are delighted with the end result and the effect it has had on our home.
Many thanks & keep up the good work. Ian, Weymouth
Tier on Tier shutters are two sets of panels, one on top of the other that operate independently of each other.
Extremely versatile, giving excellent privacy and light control.
Not suitable for all windows as some may look too busy.
Bedrooms, bathrooms and dining rooms.
Rather than fitting shutters in the usual manner with frames and hinges, tracked shutters slide on a track and concertina back.
Easy access through patio doors and can be pulled right back to make the most of a view.
Not suitable for a window with a sill.
Great for larger windows and sliding doors.
Shaped shutters are bespoke panels made to fit unusual or awkward shaped windows.
Make the most of unusual architecture. Provide a clean and interesting alternative to curtains or blinds.
Can cost a little bit more depending on shape.
Any unusual shaped window
Full Height shutters are our most popular option. Full height panels cover the whole window. Quite often full height shutters will have a divider rail so you can operate the slats above and below the rail independently, providing even more light control.
Great insulation, privacy and noise control.
There aren’t any!
French or patio doors and tall windows but are sufficiently flexible to be adapted to any window.
Solid shutters are made up of solid wood panels that cover the window entirely.
Less flexible - they’re either open or closed.
Bedrooms and draughty period properties.
Café Style shutters have panels that cover only part of the window.
Cheaper than full shutters and let in more light. Provide a lovely continental feel
Less draft proofing - more a decorative feature than practical.
Popular for privacy in urban areas.
